When this long-time favourite of the Wellington bar scene was rebranded and refurbished new furniture was called for. The Cross needed furniture with simple, enduring appeal to match its classic new brand.
Thonet Rombus side chairs and restaurant tables are dark stained and the tables are in a mix of round and square tops for a flexible and dynamic layout. Custom-made KMS Dairy Leaners have central slots to house newspapers by day and wine bottles by night, while lockable castors mean they can be easily moved to accommodate live gigs. Thonet BST74 barstools are compact enough to be neatly stowed under the leaners.
